Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support strategic decision-making through accurate analysis and reporting. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of financial data, streamline accounting processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Duties
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead internal audits and assist with external audit processes to verify financial integrity and identify areas for improvement.
Manage risk assessment procedures related to financial transactions and reporting, proactively identifying potential issues before they arise.
Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
Generating and monitoring Customer Invoices, calculate & Issue rebates as per contract
Bank,
Credit Card and HST Reconciliation on a monthly basis
Utilize advanced accounting software to generate reports, track financial performance, and support budgeting activities.
Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to support strategic planning, cost control initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in accounting procedures and internal controls.
Skills
Preferred CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be a asset
Advance Excel must be required VLOOKUP, Pivot table etc.
Strong expertise in accounting principles, standards, and regulations applicable to financial services industries.
Proven analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
Experience in risk management practices within a corporate finance setting.
Knowledge of auditing processes, including internal audits and compliance checks.
Excellent attention to detail combined with solid organizational skills for managing multiple priorities.
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
