Auto Body Technician (Bodyman)
Automotive Paint Prepper
We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work. Applicants should clearly indicate which position they are applying for.
Responsibilities
Inspect vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs
Repair dents and damaged body panels
Remove, repair, and replace damaged vehicle body parts
Perform sanding, filling, masking, priming, and surface preparation
Prepare vehicles and panels for painting
Perform polishing and paint correction when required
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and auto body equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Work independently and collaborate with the repair team
Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
Previous experience in an auto body shop is preferred
Relevant experience in auto body repair or automotive paint preparation
Robust attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform physical work and lift automotive parts
Reliability and good time-management skills
310B certification is an asset but not required
Job Details
Full time, in-person position
Approximately 40 hours per week
Pay: $18–$30 per hour, depending on the position, skills, and experience
