Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for painting, ensuring proper surface profile for coating adhesion
Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns with precision and consistency
Set up and operate cranes, forklifts, and power tools safely to move materials and equipment around the work area
Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting and painting machinery to ensure optimal performance
Use hand tools and welding equipment as needed for surface repairs or assembly tasks

Qualifications
Prior experience in industrial painting or sandblasting within a manufacturing or heavy industry setting preferred
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, forklifts, and welding equipment safely
Basic math skills for measuring coatings and calculating material quantities accurately




Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
Knowledge of machining processes and assembly techniques is a plus
Robust understanding of safety procedures related to sandblasting, painting, welding, and equipment operation
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment with attention to detail
