Responsibilities
Operate pressing machines and equipment safely and efficiently to press linens, uniforms, and other fabric items
Inspect laundry items for wrinkles, stains, or damages, ensuring quality standards are met before returning items to service
Follow proper handling procedures for delicate or specialty fabrics to prevent damage
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area, ensuring a safe working environment




Collaborate with housekeeping or laundry staff to coordinate turnaround times and prioritize tasks
Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines related to laundry equipment use
Assist with general cleaning duties related to laundry areas as needed

Experience
Previous experience working in a similar setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with laundry processes, including pressing, folding, and handling various fabric types
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards related to laundry operations
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
