Line Cook / Prep Cook — Vero Bistro (Kensington)

Vero is a small chef-owned bistro in Kensington. Short menu, handmade pasta, seafood, steaks, and accurate plating. Dinner service Wednesday to Sunday.

We’re hiring a cook who can own prep and work the line during service — not someone looking for a huge corporate kitchen.

You’ll do
Daily prep: vegetables, proteins, sauces, pasta support
Line work during dinner
Keep your station clean and labelled
Follow recipes and plating as written

You should have
Solid knife skills and kitchen hygiene
Experience in a real restaurant kitchen (independent or hotel/bistro preferred)
Reliability on weekend nights
Calm under a small, busy pass

Schedule & pay
Full time, dinner-focused (Wed–Sun)
$18–$26/hr depending on skill and speed
Staff meal
Mon & Tues we are closed

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
