Become a valued member of our team, maintaining the gardens and planters for our clients.

Some task are including but not limited to the following:
Weeding & cultivating flower beds
Edging flower beds
Pruning, deadheading, staking and dividing plants
Planting and maintenance of annuals in gardens and containers
Planting perennials and shrubs in current landscapes
Watering & fertilizing gardens
Spreading topsoil and mulch

The successful applicant will:
Possess a interest in gardening, enjoys physical work and working outdoors in nature
Be physically fit and energetic with outstanding work ethic. Able to lift, bend and carry effectively. Able to be active all day and walk for long periods of time.
Possess an attention to detail
Be willing to listen, learn, follow direction
Be willing and able to work outside in all weather
Enjoy working as part of a team
Possess interpersonal skills and ability to connect positively with other crew members

Healthy and secure workplace
CSA approved steel toed boots required. All other safety equipment supplied. Uniforms provided at no cost
Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act

Location
You must have your own, reliable transport to get to our shop each morning in Port Carling
We are not accessible by public transport

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
High School Diploma
Clean G or G2 drivers license preferred but not essential
Previous experience working with plants, farm work or outdoors in any physical job an asset but not essential. We are happy to train a willing and keen person.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
