Job Overview

As a Sushi Bar team member, you will play a vital role in crafting delicious sushi offerings and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our customers. Your expertise in food preparation, handling, and serving will contribute to the smooth operation of our busy restaurant environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and care
Handle food safely and follow all food safety protocols to maintain hygiene standards
Assist in setting up and maintaining the cleanliness of the sushi bar area
Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and professional service
Support kitchen staff with meal preparation and other food handling tasks as needed
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to preserve freshness and quality




Follow all health regulations and safety guidelines during food preparation and service

Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly preferred
Knowledge of sushi preparation, including maki rolls and sashimi techniques
Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
Experience with meal preparation, cooking, or working at a sushi bar is a plus
Robust serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
