The Prep Cook plays a key role in the kitchen, where they are responsible for preparing ingredients and food items before service. In addition, they assist the line cooks during service to help ensure a smooth and effective flow of dishes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits;
Assist the kitchen team in preparing basic recipes and components;
Receive and properly store deliveries and inventory;
Follow hygiene and food safety standards;
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen;
Adhere to occupational health and safety policies and procedures;
Perform any other duties necessary to support the efficient operation of the kitchen.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment;
Solid interest in the culinary field;
Motivated and eager to learn and grow (on-the-job training provided);
Punctual,



organized, and committed to maintaining a clean work environment;
Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
