Duties
Assist with excavation tasks using equipment such as excavators to prepare sites for construction or landscaping projects
Perform landscape installation activities including planting, sod laying, and soil preparation
Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction and landscaping tasks
Conduct regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and debris removal to keep outdoor spaces pristine
Assist with horticultural activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to best practices in gardening and horticulture




Perform routine equipment inspections and basic mechanical repairs to ensure tools and machinery are in top condition

Skills
Experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and general horticulture principles
Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (drills, saws) confidently and safely
Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance tasks
Prior construction experience that demonstrates familiarity with building sites, safety protocols, and project workflows
Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices to ensure high-quality outdoor environments
Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
