Urban Dog is looking for a dog-loving, outdoorsy person to join our team!

This is a part-time, weekday daytime position with pay based on the number of dogs walked. Occasional weekend work is also available if you’re interested. Potential to move into a full-time position for the right person.

You’re a excellent fit if you:
Love dogs and being outdoors
Live on the North Shore
Are dependable, physically fit and comfortable hiking in all weather conditions
Have a valid BC driver’s licence
Have a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting up to six dogs
Are bondable and able to provide references
Are fluent in spoken and written English
Are interested in a long-term position
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

What the job involves:
Group dog walks, private dog walks and pet visits
Safe transportation of dogs to and from trails.



Picking up after the dogs.
Cleaning and maintaining a dog friendly vehicle
Communicating professionally with clients and ensuring their dog is wiped down upon drop off
Ensuring dogs are protected, happy, and well cared for

This position is perfect for someone who loves being outdoors, staying active, and working with dogs every day.
