Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our custom manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and high-end millwork. This role requires a strong command of advanced woodworking techniques, blueprint interpretation, and the operation of precision machinery. The Cabinet Maker will play a lead role in delivering custom joinery that meets client specifications.

Duties:
Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom cabinets and wood components.
Cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinetry using precision hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery (table saws, shapers, jointers).
Operate and maintain woodworking equipment to ensure exact tolerances.
Install custom cabinets and related millwork in residential or commercial settings with strict attention to alignment and fit.
Perform restoration work on high-value cabinetry or wood fixtures as needed.
Measure and mark dimensions of parts on paper or lumber stock prior to cutting.
Apply varnish, stain, or polish to finished products.
Maintain a clean, organized workshop to promote safety and efficiency.




Mentor junior staff and apprentices on proper assembly techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements / Skills:
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in custom cabinetry or fine woodworking.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in blueprint reading, custom joinery (dovetail, mortise & tenon), and laminate application.
Tools: Skilled in the use of hand tools (chisels, planes), power tools, and stationary woodworking machinery.
Precision: Solid attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills.
Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Language: English.
