We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mandarin-speaking Banking AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Operations Associate to join our team. Duties
Review and analyze banking transactions for suspicious activity, ensuring compliance with AML regulations and internal policies
Conduct detailed investigations into alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems, identifying potential money laundering or fraud risks
Collaborate with internal teams to perform internal audits of transaction records, account activities, and compliance procedures
Maintain accurate documentation of case investigations, audit findings, and resolution steps
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in Mandarin to gather information or clarify transaction details




Assist in the development and enhancement of AML procedures, including updating policies based on regulatory changes
Support periodic internal audits by preparing reports, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring adherence to audit standards

Experience
Proven experience in banking operations, AML compliance, or related financial services roles
Strong knowledge of AML regulations, internal audit processes, and banking transaction monitoring systems
Fluency in Mandarin with excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is preferred
Familiarity with auditing practices, including conducting internal audits within financial institutions
Background in accounting or related financial disciplines is highly desirable
Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
