Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
Support serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure menu standards are met
Contribute to a positive team workplace by communicating effectively with team members during busy service periods
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent understanding of meal preparation processes across various cuisines or menu types
Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is REQUIRED (Min 2 years)
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members during service shifts
Passion for delivering high-quality food service and a positive attitude towards teamwork
