Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot small engine issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge.
Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other small engines.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
Conduct electrical repairs and wiring on small engines when necessary.
Assist customers by explaining repair needs, providing maintenance advice, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, use of power tools,
and handling of mechanical components.
Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs aligned with manufacturer specifications.
Experience
Proven mechanic experience with small engines or automotive repair is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with welding and electrical systems enhances your ability to perform complex repairs.
Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus but not required.
Solid mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and work efficiently in physically demanding situations.
Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
Knowledge of schematics, automotive systems, and sales techniques is advantageous for providing comprehensive service.

Pay: $18.54-$25.00 per hour
