Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team for a maternity leave coverage starting in November 2026. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental specialists in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.

Basic Duties:
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Open Dental)
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including handling patient inquiries.
Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dental care when required.
Certification in Dental Assisting

The ideal candidate would have:
Several (3+) years of experience




Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
IV sedation module would be a bonus as we do a couple of days per month doing sedations and surgeries.
Comfortable working with/on kids and families

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
