Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and proper food handling at all times
Assist in meal preparation, including slicing fish, cooking rice, and assembling sushi rolls
Serve guests with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive dining experience through excellent food service skills
Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every dish
Keep the kitchen clean, organized,



and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies
Collaborate with team members to meet service goals during busy hours while maintaining a lively work setting

Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a sushi chef in a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform serving duties with professionalism and enthusiasm
Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in sushi preparation and meal assembly
Excellent attention to detail for precise cutting, presentation, and ingredient measurement
Prior restaurant experience within the food industry is highly desirable
Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
