Part-Time Deli Clerk

Giancarlo Italian Deli – Coquitlam, BC

Giancarlo Italian Deli is looking for a friendly, energetic Part-Time Deli Clerk to join our team. If you have experience working behind a deli counter, operating a meat slicer, making fresh sandwiches, or preparing catering platters, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced Italian deli where quality, customer service, and attention to detail matter.

What You'll Do
Slice deli meats and cheeses safely and accurately.
Prepare fresh sandwiches, paninis, soups, and lunch items.
Create and package catering platters.
Serve customers with friendly, knowledgeable service.
Stock and rotate products.
Maintain a clean and organized deli and prep area.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist with general deli and retail duties as needed.

Priority Qualifications

We're giving priority to candidates with experience in:
Meat and cheese slicing
Sandwich preparation
Catering platter assembly
Italian deli or specialty food environments
Food Secure certification (an asset)

Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Position: Part time
Location: Giancarlo Italian Deli, Coquitlam, BC
Flexible weekday and weekend availability preferred.
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
