Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

We are currently hiring 5 General Labourers for an industrial manufacturing facility in Welland, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for long-term employment with the potential to be hired on permanently after 3 months.

This is a physically demanding position in a manufacturing workplace with opportunities for growth and advancement for employees who demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.

Job Responsibilities
Perform general labour duties in a rubber manufacturing workplace
Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
Operate safely around production equipment and machinery
Use hand tools and work with cutting knives as required
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
Assist with other production-related tasks as assigned

Working Conditions




Hot industrial environment due to manufacturing equipment with a rubber smell.
Regular breaks provided throughout the shift
Industrial fans are used to improve worker comfort
Refreshments such as Gatorade and popsicles are provided during warmer conditions
Gloves and safety glasses are supplied by the employer
CSA-approved safety shoes are required (must be provided by the employee)

Requirements
Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing environment
Steel-toe/CSA-approved safety shoes are required
Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
Looking for long-term employment with excellent attendance
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
