Daycare handler (part-time)

Must be available

Shift : 3 days per week 12pm-4pm

Fillin when needed.

Could lead to more hours in the future.

Duties:

-2 (30 min dog walks per shift)
Provide a secure and nurturing environment for dogs in the daycare
Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and activities
Plan and implement developmental appropriate mental and physical activities
Assist with feedings, bathing, nail trims and overall care of all dogs
Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment

Experience:
Previous experience in caregiving or working with dogs is preferred
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning workplace
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with owners and colleagues
Ability to multitask and handle the demands of a busy daycare setting

-Walk: Willing and able to walk small groups of dogs (30min walks each).





Education: Knowledge of principles and practices related to reward based handling and training

must be able to stand entire shift. Work in a fast paced environment.

Commitment: Looking for someone dedicated to working here long term.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
