Accounts Payable Office Clerk

Location: In Office - Conestogo ON

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position: Full-Time

Starting Wage: $21.00/hour

About the Position We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Office Clerk to join our team. This is a full time, in-office position that plays an important role in keeping our office organized and ensuring day-to-day administrative tasks are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a busy, fast paced office environment, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Retrieve and distribute incoming mail
Prepare and mail cheques and other outgoing correspondence
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a skilled and friendly manner
Monitor, organize, and manage a busy email inbox
Sort, organize, and accurately file documents and invoices
Maintain an organized and efficient reception and office area
Assist with general administrative and clerical duties as required
Provide support to the Accounts Payable and office team as needed




Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Complete other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills
Previous reception or administrative office experience is an asset
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Qualified and friendly communication skills
Comfortable answering phones and dealing with Member and Vendor inquiries
Ability to manage a busy inbox and prioritize tasks
Basic computer skills and proficient with GMAIL & Google Drive
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience is an asset but not required
