Seeking qualified associates with experience in Structural Steel Welding and Fitting experience .
Experience in a heavy steel fabrication/machining/assembly setting
Weld and fit components together using MIG welding
Read & interpret shop drawings and weld diagrams to ensure accuracy of work
Use hand tools, torches, and other tools as required to complete work
two or more years experience as a Welder Fitter working on custom components
Capable of reading & interpreting shop drawings and weld diagrams
Robust attention to detail and quality of work
Ability to handle physical workload
Safety conscious
Overhead Crane and Rigging an asset




CWB Certified is an asset but willing to certify
TSSA tickets an asset

Responsibilities
Position is specifically for a Welder/Fitter
Weld and fit components together using MIG welding
Read & interpret shop drawings and weld diagrams to ensure accuracy of work
Use hand tools, torches and other tools as required to complete work
if selected you must do a Weld Test

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
FITTER /welder: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
Overhead Crane and Rigging (preferred)
TSSA tickets (preferred)
work permit (preferred)
