Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice — 2nd or 3rd Year

We are seeking a motivated 2nd Year Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our team. Preference will be given to second-year apprentices; however, qualified third-year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.

This position offers the prospect to work on a diverse fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment in a hands-on, fast-paced workplace.

Qualifications
Currently registered as a second-year Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice; third-year apprentices may also be considered
Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems
Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs
Valid Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement
Service truck experience is considered an asset
A good set of personal tools is considered an asset
Ability to maintain accurate, complete and legible service documentation

Schedule
The regular schedule is primarily five days on and two days off but may change depending on operational requirements
A typical workday is approximately 10 hours
