Job Description:

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing team in Vancouver, British Columbia on a contract basis with the potential to become permanent. This opportunity is well suited to someone who can manage employee pay processes accurately while supporting advantages and related payroll activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and on schedule while ensuring employee earnings, deductions, and adjustments are entered correctly.
Maintain payroll records and verify timesheet information to support timely and accurate payment processing.
Administer payroll-related updates for benefits, deductions, and employee changes in accordance with company policies.
Review payroll data for discrepancies, investigate issues, and resolve errors before final submission.
Coordinate with internal teams to address payroll inquiries and provide transparent, thorough support to employees.
Prepare payroll reports and assist with reconciliations to support finance and accounting requirements.




Support payroll system administration and help maintain accurate information within accounting and payroll platforms.
Contribute to ongoing process improvements that strengthen payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Requirements:
Previous experience in payroll administration with responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing.
Working knowledge of payroll functions, payment processing, and payroll-related record maintenance.
Experience supporting advantages administration and employee deduction updates.
Familiarity with accounting or payroll software systems; experience with About Time is considered an asset.
Robust attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies efficiently.
Effective communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a broader team.
