Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression and guiding them through check-in procedures
Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate staff members and handling inquiries professionally
Schedule appointments accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix, ensuring optimal patient flow
Verify insurance information, update patient records, and process payments with precision and confidentiality
Maintain organized front desk operations, including filing, data entry,
and managing office supplies
Assist with patient intake forms, medical/dental terminology explanations, and documentation to facilitate smooth visits
Support the clinical team by preparing patient charts, updating records in electronic medical records (EMR), and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
Experience
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix is essential
Robust knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology enhances communication with patients and staff
Demonstrated office experience handling multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
Previous background in medical or dental office settings that involved administrative responsibilities is advantageous
Proven ability to manage busy schedules efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
