Your Career Just Got an Upgrade!
What if your next leadership opportunity came with mountains, lakes and a better quality of life?
Cranbrook Nissan is under new ownership and entering an exciting new chapter. We're looking for an experienced, motivated Sales Manager to help lead our sales department and play a key role in building the future of our dealership.
This isn't about stepping into a position and maintaining the status quo.
We're looking for someone who wants to build, lead and grow.
With refreshed inventory, new ownership and a renewed focus on our customers and employees, this is an opportunity to put your experience to work and make a real impact.
And you can do it while living in one of the most beautiful parts of British Columbia.
A Fresh Start at Cranbrook Nissan
We're building a dealership focused on strong leadership, accountability, customer experience and results — without losing sight of the people behind those results.
We believe successful automotive careers shouldn't automatically mean sacrificing every evening, weekend and family commitment.
We're working toward a culture that values productivity, performance and results rather than simply spending long hours at the dealership.
Solid performance. Better balance. Big opportunity.
The Opportunity
As Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day performance of our sales department while helping develop the people, processes and culture that will drive Cranbrook Nissan forward.
You'll work closely with ownership and dealership management to grow sales, strengthen gross profit, improve customer retention and create a sales experience that keeps customers coming back.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the automotive business and knows how to get the best out of a sales team.
What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include
- Lead,
coach and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and dealership goals
- Recruit, train and develop Sales Consultants
- Manage new and pre-owned vehicle sales performance
- Desk deals and assist Sales Consultants with negotiations and closing
- Monitor gross profit, volume, closing ratios and other key sales performance indicators
- Manage dealership leads, CRM activity and customer follow-up
- Ensure leads are handled quickly, professionally and consistently
- Help manage vehicle inventory, pricing and merchandising
- Work with management to maintain the right inventory mix
- Support used-vehicle acquisition and inventory turn
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training and one-on-one coaching
- Maintain strong relationships between sales, finance, service and parts
- Ensure dealership and manufacturer processes are followed
- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction
- Lead by example and help create a positive, accountable and professional sales culture
Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who:
- Has automotive sales management or significant automotive sales leadership experience
- Understands dealership sales operations and deal structure
- Knows how to coach and develop salespeople rather than simply manage numbers
- Is comfortable working with CRM systems, digital leads and dealership technology
- Understands inventory management, gross profit and sales performance metrics
- Has strong communication and negotiation skills
- Is organized, accountable and results-driven
- Can make decisions and take ownership of the department
- Understands that great customer experiences create repeat and referral business
- Wants to help build something rather than simply inherit someone else's system
- Values both performance and a healthy workplace culture
Nissan experience is an asset, but strong automotive leadership experience and the right fit for our dealership are more important. Why Cranbrook?
