Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other menu items while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems including Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and upselling additional items when appropriate
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations




- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety of products

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: From $16.40 per hour
