SAP IS-U – Work Management Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-U Work Management Lead to support a large-scale SAP Utilities transformation program. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP IS-U Work Management, utility field service processes, work orders, service orders, meter-related field activities, and integration with other SAP Utilities modules.

The successful candidate will lead functional design and delivery while working closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP IS-U Work Management functional design and implementation activities.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP IS-U Work Management solutions.

Design and support utility work management and field service processes.

Work with service orders, work orders, field activities, and related utility processes.

Support processes related to meter installation, removal, replacement, inspection, and field service activities.

Coordinate integration between Work Management, Device Management, Meter Reading, Billing, and Customer Service.

Define functional requirements and prepare functional specifications.

Work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and integrations.

Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

Support data migration and validation activities.





Troubleshoot functional and integration issues.

Participate in business workshops and stakeholder meetings.

Provide functional leadership and guidance to other team members.

Support production deployment, stabilization, and post-go-live activities.

Prepare project documentation and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with SAP IS-U Work Management.

Strong understanding of SAP Utilities business processes.

Experience with utility field service and work management processes.

Experience with work orders, service orders, field activities, and related processes.

Strong understanding of integration with Device Management, Meter Reading, and Billing.

Experience with SAP IS-U functional configuration and solution design.

Experience with requirements gathering, testing, defect management, and production support.

Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Experience working on SAP IS-U implementation, enhancement, or transformation projects.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Utilities industry experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities / SAP IS-U.

Experience with SAP PM/EAM integration.

Experience with mobile workforce or field service solutions.

Knowledge of AMI/Smart Metering environments.

Experience with large-scale utility transformation programs.

Ability to work remotely with periodic travel to Vancouver, BC.
