The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Mill Technician to join Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. The position will be based in Onaping, Greater Sudbury, Ontario. This is a full time, unionized position.Rate of Pay: $43.62 per hour plus applicable bonuses.Duties and AccountabilitiesReporting to the Mill Process Development and Environmental Engineer, the Technician II – Process Development (Mill) plans, carries out, and reports on laboratory, pilot plant, and plant studies to improve metal recovery, increase the grades of the concentrates, or reduce the cost of production at the Strathcona Mill. They plan tests, establish procedures for laboratory, pilot plant, or plant tests, and carry out the test work. The incumbent will analyze the results of tests and write reports to the supervisor.About YouYour personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your growth in this role.Education and SkillsCommunity college graduation in a three‑year program in metallurgical or chemical technology, or equivalent in education and experience,
