Position Responsibilities

Process requests from external customers seeking to initiate an unclaimed property claim. Review documentation, apply established procedures, and use sound judgment to determine whether requests are complete and eligible for processing. High attention to detail is required to ensure an accurate and timely customer experience. (80%) Contact customers when additional information or supporting documentation is required. Determine whether standard communications are sufficient or whether direct outreach is necessary to resolve outstanding items. (5%) Process requests from external vendors and business partners that require immediate attention to support claim progression. Manage escalated inquiries related to claim initiation, documentation requirements, and follow-up activities, ensuring timely resolution. Utilize multiple operational and claims-related systems effectively and maintain a working knowledge of each. Support additional administrative and operational responsibilities as required. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience. Previous experience in business operations, customer service, claims administration, financial services, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems. Preferred Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and processing documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong administrative background with proven organizational skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving ability. Solid typing and data-entry skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Robust computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience handling escalations and resolving complex customer inquiries. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment. Nova Scotia Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $38,175.00 CAD - $63,625.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
