Become a part-time Youth Drop-In Coordinator with EPYC, where you’ll create a welcoming environment for youth. Engage them in activities and ensure a safe space during drop-in sessions.
As a Youth Drop-In Coordinator, you will supervise and interact with youth, building robust relationships and facilitating engaging activities. Working Thursday through Saturday evenings, your role requires a friendly yet authoritative approach, providing guidance and adherence to center rules. You’ll also assist in setup and cleanup while recording participant attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create an inclusive workplace for all youth participants
• Engage youth in games, activities, and conversations
• Encourage participation while respecting individual choices
• Enforce center expectations with fairness and clarity
• Respond to conflicts or challenging behavior calmly
Requirements:
• Reliable and approachable with youth
• Experience in youth engagement through various roles
• Solid judgment and conflict resolution skills
• Availability for evening shifts on a rotating schedule
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
