The companyis hiring a

Senior Backend Engineer to join its

Customer Focus Group (CFG)

— a technical team that connects engineering with the commercial side of the product.

CFG team members work across development, architecture, product, and customer-facing activities . The role involves understanding customer needs, translating them into product improvements, building current features, and solving urgent technical challenges.

We’re looking for a strong backend engineer who can combine deep technical expertise with a broader product and customer perspective. The role has a strong focus on infrastructure, performance, scalability, and customer satisfaction .

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

Develop new features based on customer and product requirements

Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions

Investigate and resolve complex technical and production issues

Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

Contribute to backend architecture and technical decision-making

Work with

SQL and NoSQL databases and support high-volume data processing

Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using

AWS, Azure,



or GCP

Collaborate with

Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams

Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and Agile development processes

Take ownership of features from design and development through deployment and support

Help improve the overall customer experience and product quality

Requirements

Strong understanding of backend architecture , including microservices, API design, and design patterns

Proficiency in

Node.js / TypeScript or another relevant backend language

Experience with

SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience building and scaling systems for high-volume data processing

Hands-on experience with

AWS, Azure, or GCP

Familiarity with cloud services such as serverless computing and managed databases

5+ years of backend development experience , preferably with customer-focused products

Strong problem-solving skills and experience building performant, scalable solutions

Experience with

Agile development and

CI/CD pipelines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills , including working with globally distributed teams
