Senior European Baker – Full Time (Vancouver, BC)

We are seeking an experienced European-trained Baker with strong skills in artisan dough production, croissant lamination, baguette shaping, pie dough, cake preparation, and sheeter operation. This is a long-term, secure position for someone who values craftsmanship, consistency, and teamwork.

We are a well-established Belgian/European bakery in Vancouver, known for high-quality pastries, waffles, and artisan baked goods. Our production kitchen is fast-paced, professional, and focused on maintaining authentic European standards.

What You Will Do

- Mix, develop, and finish a variety of doughs: croissant, baguette, pie/sugar dough, cake batters
- Perform croissant lamination and operate the dough sheeter with precision
- Assist with daily baking production and maintain consistent product quality
- Scale ingredients accurately and follow recipes with attention to detail
- Lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and assist with pallet jack use (training provided)
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspace
- Support production team with organization, prep, and workflow efficiency
- Contribute to a positive, reliable, and long-term team environment

What You Bring





- 5+ years European baking experience (artisan bakery or pastry house preferred)
- Strong skills in lamination, dough handling, shaping, and sheeter operation
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
- Punctual, tidy, reliable, and committed to long-term employment
- Comfortable with physical work, lifting, and production pace
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

Schedule & Employment Details

- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift

Compensation & Benefits

- $27–$33/hr, depending on experience and skill level
