Position Description

This role is Hybrid and requires you to be in our Toronto, ON (minimum) 1 time per week.

CGI is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Financial Services team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role is ideal for an experienced data qualified with strong expertise in SQL, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, data modeling, ETL, and data analysis.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data landing, curation, productization, monitoring, and issue management.

Analyze complex data issues to identify failure points and perform root-cause analysis.

Independently investigate data problems and drive issues through to effective resolution.

Apply strong SQL expertise for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

Support data warehousing and ETL processes, including data mapping and data flow analysis.

Support and monitor data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and availability.

Contribute to reporting, analytics, and data visualization requirements.

Collaborate with business, technology, and data teams to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Strong hands-on experience in Data Analysis and SQL.

Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure.

Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.

Experience with data mapping and data flow analysis.

Experience supporting and troubleshooting data pipelines and data quality issues.

Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience within Financial Services is an asset.

"CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.



Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy."
