Location: AGM Bakery, in Etobicoke near Kipling Subway Station
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

About the Role We are a commercial bakery located in Etobicoke looking for a skilled Baker (Pastry) to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily focused on the production of our authentic French macarons. You will be expected to precisely follow our specialized recipes to ensure high-quality products are consistently produced at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Execute all stages of French macaron production, including accurate scaling, mixing (macaronage), piping, baking, and assembling.
Monitor oven temperatures, humidity, and baking times
Prepare various fillings such as ganaches, buttercreams, and curds according to proprietary recipes
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation, strictly adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Work closely and collaboratively with other bakers on the line.




Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Bakery Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements
Proven qualified experience baking French macarons is highly preferred.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to maintain pace in a high-volume setting
At least one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset.
Ability to multi-task and handle various production demands, while prioritizing tasks effectively amidst frequent changes.
Ability to strictly follow standard operating procedures for Health and Safety & GMP.
Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and safely lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to communicate in Basic English, both verbal and written.
Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
