We are looking for a dedicated advisor to fill a full-time position in the Human Resources Directorate at the Senate of Canada. You will play a pivotal role in advising on classification matters for both unionized and non-unionized positions. Collaborate with HR colleagues and managers to ensure positions are aligned with organizational objectives while managing classification requests and improving service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on organizational design and job evaluation processes
• Conduct thorough classification reviews and assessments
• Lead classification committees per Senate procedures




• Partner with Labour Relations to resolve classification grievances
• Develop solutions that meet the Senate's strategic goals
Requirements:
• University degree or relevant educational background
• Extensive experience in human resources classification
• Ability to analyze and write job descriptions effectively
• Robust collaboration skills with internal and external partners
• CHRP designation or classification accreditation is an asset
