The Line

Cook will play a vital part in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests and uphold the reputation of our establishment.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations




Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in a kitchen setting
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
Strong understanding of the food industry’s best practices for quality and safety
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction when interacting with front-of-house staff or guests
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced workplace
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong attention to detail
