This hybrid position emphasizes technical leadership and strategic collaboration. In this key role, you will apply your 12+ years of engineering experience in protection and controls to lead complex technical initiatives.

Your collaboration with industry partners will ensure robust solutions for transmission and generation projects while maintaining regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical evaluations of large-load interconnection projects
Conduct detailed protection studies to identify reliability issues
Develop protection system standards and engineering requirements




Mentor engineering teams and provide technical oversight
Engage with stakeholders on strategic engineering initiatives Requirements:
12 years of experience in electric utilities with a P&C; focus
Familiarity with Alberta Reliability Standards and compliance
Solid skills in technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving
Expertise in digital substations and HVDC technologies
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng. eligibility Take the lead in advancing Alberta’s electricity landscape through your expertise and creative approaches.
