As a Guest Attendantat Chartwell, you’ll provide personal care, assistance, and support to our residents, helping them live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. Your empathy, professionalism, and commitment to excellence will create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.

What You’ll Do
Help residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines like dressing and meals
Provide support with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal service
Administer medications and follow individual care plans
Keep resident areas clean and protected, and follow all health and safety protocols
Respond to resident and family concerns and report to the Health and Wellness Manager when needed

What You’ll Bring
Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services
Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred
Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively




Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs
Maintain high hygiene standards, work safely with equipment, and manage time well

Additional Requirements
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the role
Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items
Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
Transparent Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
