Quick Draw Tarpaulin Systems is looking for a hands on, detail oriented Industrial Printer Operatorto join our growing production team.

If you have experience with large-format printing, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and production artwork, this position offers an opportunity to combine your graphic skills with hands on manufacturing in a rapid paced setting.

You’ll be responsible for taking jobs from artwork and file preparation through printing, quality control, and final application on our rolling tarp systems.

What You’ll Do
Operate large-format printers, plotters, and related production equipment.
Set up and produce high quality print jobs according to customer and production specifications.
Prepare vinyl and other printing materials for production.
Review artwork and make basic adjustments for sizing, colour, resolution, layout, and print requirements.
Prepare and RIP production files using applicable software.
Inspect finished graphics to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements.
Perform routine printer maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain organized production files and job records.
Work closely with our Graphics, Sales,



and Production teams to keep jobs on schedule.
Support other printing, signage, marketing, and production projects as required.

What You Bring
2+ years of experience in large-format printing, graphic production, signage, or a related field preferred.
Experience operating large-format printers and plotters.
Solid working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Ability to prepare and adjust print-ready artwork.
Understanding of colour, layout, sizing, resolution, and print production.
Experience with RIP software, CorelDRAW, SignLab, or similar software is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Print Technology education, or equivalent hands-on experience is an asset.

This posting is for an existing position. Pay: $23.00 per hour
