Algonquin College is seeking a Medical Device Reprocessing Lab Assistant to enhance student learning in the Wellness department. This part time role supports educational experiences on campus.

In this role, you will report to the Chair, Wellness Research & Innovation, contributing to a conducive lab setting for students. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your communication and conflict resolution skills to facilitate learning while managing lab operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist students in Medical Device Reprocessing practices • Maintain transparent communication regarding student expectations • Support faculty in delivering laboratory instruction • Organize materials using Microsoft Office tools • Ensure a professional and respectful lab atmosphere

Requirements: • One-year certification in Medical Device Reprocessing • Three years of relevant general experience • Minimum one year as a technician in the field • Solid interpersonal and conflict management skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite functions
