Indian Chef – Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Indian cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and solid experience in kitchen operations. Experience in South Indian cuisine will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic Indian dishes including Tandoor, Indo-Chinese, and Indian curries (North & South Indian styles)
Demonstrate solid hands-on expertise in Indian Tandoor cooking
Prepare Roomali Roti, kebabs, tikkas, and a variety of Indian breads
Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Develop and innovate current menu items while maintaining consistency in quality and taste
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff
Manage inventory and ensure timely ordering of supplies
Maintain strict compliance with health,



hygiene, and food safety standards
Collaborate with management for events, promotions, and catering menus

Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
Minimum 3- 5 years of hands-on Experience in Indian Cuisine
Strong expertise in Tandoor, Roomali Roti, kebabs, tikkas, and Indian breads
In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and kitchen operations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace
Culinary certification or degree (preferred, not mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
