Join Clark County Public Works as a Senior Environmental Operations Specialist in the Clean Water division. In this role, you will engage in vital tasks to uphold Clark County’s NPDES phase I permit requirements.
Effectively manage pollution sources and conduct inspections for county-owned and private stormwater facilities. Your ability to provide technical assistance to facility owners and respond to community complaints will significantly impact local water quality. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect public and private stormwater facilities for maintenance compliance
Investigate water quality complaints and illegal discharges
Provide training on NPDES permit requirements to county staff
Collect water quality samples for analysis and reporting
Manage compliance data digitally for performance tracking Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a natural science or related field
Two years of relevant experience in stormwater management
Comprehensive knowledge of water quality regulations
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Must possess a valid driver's license Drive stormwater compliance and contribute to a healthier setting in Clark County.
