The operator will load, run, program,



and maintain flatbed laser machine according to the production schedule while ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are met. This role requires specialized skills to operate and maintain laser equipment effectively.Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $26.54Position OverviewThe Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining flatbed laser cutting machines to cut steel and other metals in accordance with production specifications. This role involves setting up equipment, programming machines, design of cutting programs, monitoring operations, and ensuring that all output meets quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, programming experience and a commitment to safety and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely set up, operate, and monitor flatbed laser cutting machines (including both lasers) according to job requirements and safety protocolsLoad and unload raw materials, inspecting steel for defects or irregularities prior to processingUse appropriate lifting equipment and tools to safely handle and position materialsInterpret work orders, blueprints,
