OverviewThe TramCité Project – Systems Contract, awarded to the Québec Connexion Capitale consortium, is one of the largest public transit projects in Québec. It brings together highly skilled experts responsible for delivering complex and innovative systems. The project includes the design, integration, and commissioning of systems essential to the operation of the future tramway, incorporating state‑of‑the‑art technologies in rail systems, signaling, power supply and traction, telecommunications, operations control, and passenger interfaces.By joining the Québec Connexion Capitale team, you will contribute to a high‑profile, sustainable, and transformative project within a collaborative, dynamic work environment driven by technical excellence.Your roleParticipate in the design and evaluation of sustainable mobility solutions.Carry out transportation planning studies while ensuring effective coordination, adherence to schedules,
and the quality of deliverables.Analyze modeling results and plans to support transportation studies.Develop growth scenarios and propose recommendations or improvements to meet project objectives.Prepare technical reports and summary documents to track project phases.Present studies and results to stakeholders and explain technical issues in clear, accessible terms.About YouHolds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a specialization in transportation.Is a member in positive standing with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).Has a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.Has a robust working knowledge of simulation and modeling software.Synchro/SimTraffic and AIMSUN.Has completed at least one traffic signal and/or transit project involving AIMSUN simulation.Has solid knowledge of traffic signals, including programming and equipment.Expected compensationPay range: $80,700 - $111,000 annually.
