About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a long-term contract opportunity in Canada . This is a fully remote contract position for candidates based in Canada.

The role is focused on designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise ServiceNow solutions, with particular emphasis on CMDB, ITOM, Service Operations Workspace, integrations, automation, and platform stability .

We are looking for a true senior developer—not primarily a ServiceNow administrator—who can independently own technical design decisions, solve complex platform issues, and build scalable solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop enterprise ServiceNow solutions and custom applications
- Design and maintain CMDB and ITOM , including Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, CI modeling, and data quality
- Develop integrations using IntegrationHub, REST, SOAP, OAuth, and MID Servers
- Build server-side and client-side solutions using ServiceNow scripting
- Build workflows and automation using Flow Designer
- Configure and customize Service Operations Workspace
- Troubleshoot complex platform and production issues
- Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, performant, and upgrade-protected
- Own testing,



technical documentation, deployment readiness, and post-production validation
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- Deep experience with CMDB and ITOM
- Strong experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Server configuration
- Strong ServiceNow scripting skills, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, GlideRecord, and GlideAjax
- Strong experience with REST and SOAP integrations
- Experience with IntegrationHub
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently own complex ServiceNow development projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

- ServiceNow CSA and relevant CIS certification
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Operations Workspace and UI Builder
- Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- Now Assist, Virtual Agent, NLU, or Predictive Intelligence
- Performance Analytics and advanced reporting
