The Ross family takes pride in providing compassionate, quality patient care.Position SummaryReporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR/LR Consultant will provide guidance and support to managers and other Human Resources staff on employment and labour relations matters. The HR/LR Consultant will exercise independent judgment and initiative in determining and recommending courses of action when dealing with a full range of employee and labour relations services including collective agreement interpretation and application, managing grievances, mediation and arbitration, collective bargaining, employee counselling, conflict resolution, performance management, organizational change, and development.The Human Resources Department is currently seeking a Permanent Full Time HR and Labour Relations Consultant to join their team.Essential QualificationsFour (4) Year Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or related Business degreeCertified Human Resources Professional (C.H.R.P) and membership in good standing with the HRPASignificant experience in a broad range of Human Resources generalist roles with recent focus on labour relations, preferably in a hospital or unionized environment (minimum five (5)
