Project OverviewRegarding Hiring: This role offers the potential for employment with any of the joint venture companies involved in the project. Hiring decisions are based on equal opportunities across each team.Project PartnershipCross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a joint venture including Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc., and Arcadis Canada Inc.It is a general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a current, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99.The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed resource- and cost-loaded construction schedules for heavy civil construction projects.Work with project teams to provide input for baseline schedule and monthly updates, and maintain open communication when schedules change.Incorporate scope changes into the schedule.Prepare schedule updates/revisions and monthly progress reports.Monitor project progress against baseline and provide delay and time impact analyses.Support project teams with planning and scheduling during preconstruction, design, construction support,
and construction phases.Work with the Virtual Design team to develop 4D schedules.Assist in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.Review purchase orders and subcontract schedule status, and provide input on subcontract performance.Assemble data for schedule updates.Conduct and assist in performance measurement and associated schedule trends.Provide analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.Assist in procedure development and implementation.Update and produce scheduling management reports.Perform remedial schedule risk analysis.Assist in tracking corrective actions.Education and Qualifications1-7 years experience in scheduling.Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering background.Primavera experience.Construction experience.Project work would be an asset.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization.Why You Should ApplyOpportunity to work on an iconic infrastructure project in a professional and dynamic team of Canadian and international leaders in the field.BenefitsUp to 5% RRSP matchingCareer Advancement, training and education opportunitiesTravel allowanceFour weeks vacationCompensationThe expected salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $140,000.
