Duties

- Supervise daily store activities, ensuring smooth operations during your shift
- Lead, motivate, and train team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently
- Oversee merchandising efforts, including pricing, product placement, and inventory replenishment
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new staff, and supporting their ongoing development
- Monitor store compliance with safety policies, security protocols, and company standards
- Support budgeting activities and assist with purchasing decisions to optimize store profitability

Skills

- Proven supervising or team management experience in retail or related fields




- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service excellence
- Proficient in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
- Knowledge of merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, and sales management principles
- Experience with recruiting, training & development initiatives, and payroll processing
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership qualities such as motivation, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with marketing techniques and promotional activities to boost store traffic
