Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments - including but not limited to: Lathes / Bed Mills - Boring Mills / Bandsaws / Drill Presses / CNC Mills.
- Read blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers - bore gauges - coating thickness gauges - hardness gauges, to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with General Manager and shop supervision team for desired results.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Experience:





-Must have manual machining experience

-Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
