The ideal candidate will have the desire, work ethic and experience to manage high profile infrastructure renewal, water & sewer, road reconstruction, environmental reclamation and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site leadership, safety, quality and execution
- Lead daily site operations, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and internal crews to maintain productivity and schedule adherence
- Provide hands-on leadership and direction to field teams, ensuring safety, accountability and performance
- Communicate plan, goals and objectives, critical path, subcontractor performance
- Developing and executing short-term schedules, in cooperation with Project Managers
- Proactively identify and resolve complications, and site constraints
- Support communication between field and office to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with all stakeholders on site
- Ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards
- Provides experienced oversight in a complex, high-risk workplace
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects with a strong background in construction management
- Interpret documentation, specifications and design drawings to define scope/contents of projects




- Review project scope and provide value engineering prior to and during construction
- Follow up and analyze data from Project Management team to ensure the field has the necessary information for the next activity
- Ensure all production teams are educated on the correct designs, materials, executed methods are being completed efficiently
- Lead goal orientated project team meetings
- Create, track & evaluate production metrics

Qualifications & Experience

- 5-10 years of heavy civil construction experience, with significant time in a senior foreman or superintendent role
- Execution of Heavy civil projects in the water/sewer, roadbuilding, and earthworks scope of work.
- Strong command of OHSA regulations and their application
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects with a strong background in construction management
- Proficiency with industry-standard software and devices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents
- Demonstrated skills in budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination
- Construction-related safety certifications

Additional Skills and Experience

- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Projects, and Google Suite
- Time Management and Organization Skills (pre-planning, multi-tasking, documentation)
- Effective at problem solving and decision making
- Positive and professional attitude
- A self-motivated personality that can be successful independently and in a team
- Valid Ontario class G drivers’ license
